The eighteen residences in the area of Scharn-Noord are supposed to be readed as four-in-one-building. The volumes are designed as one composition, which contains four residences ‘by coinsidence’. There is no sign where one residence ends or where the other begins; the four residences are determined within the composition, which creates a diversity of floorplans. However, the five volumes connect as a whole by the way they are positioned, connecting the eighteen residences as a whole as well.
